Stewart Blasts Davos: Solving Inequality or Indulging in ‘Orgy of Self-Congratulatory Excess’?

Switzerland is currently the epicenter of two big international issues: Syria and income inequality, and Jon Stewart is here to show you how big a clusterf*ck both are stuck in right now. Stewart mocked the supposed “word war” between nations in the Syria negotiations that ended up being “the nicest seder I’ve ever been to!”

Stewart also took on Bashar al-Assad running for reelection, speculating whether gassing his own people will help or hurt him in the upcoming primaries.

Meanwhile at Davos, the World Economic Forum is in full swing, as the global elite talk about income inequality in some of the nicest, ritziest places they can. And to all those who would decry it as “financial Hollywood” and an “orgy of self-congratulatory excess,” well, you would be actually not that far off.
