Jon Stewart wasted no time Monday night piling on the problems continuing to plague the Obamacare website, explaining that while it can handle more people, there are less errors, and the loading time is shorter, now it “records you having sex and e-mails it to your parents,” not to mention it now features a hand that can reach out of the computer and do unspeakable things to you.
Stewart presented the Obama administration with a mock note of congratulations for finally sort of doing something that, really, they should have done in the first place and avoided all this nonsense. But Stewart didn’t leave Republicans off the hook, and took on the idea that the private sector would handle this a lot better.
Stewart used Black Friday to make his point, arguing that Walmart went all out for the big shopping day, people brawled in its stores, and the website (GASP!) crashed. So as Stewart explained it, it’s a “national travesty” if the Obamacare site is down, but if the Walmart site goes down on Black Friday, it’s one of the most successful days they’ve ever had.
