The castaways return from tribal and Troy is completely disappointed. He knows he is the next person in line to be voted out. He begins to question Christina as to why she voted with the girls and Alicia of all people sticks up for her. Funny how things can change so quickly in this game. A few days ago Alicia wanted to rip her face off (and that’s being kind). Troyzan approaches Chelsea and pleads his case about how much he deserves to be in the game over others, and Chelsea tells him that he needs to start “taking it like a man.” In my opinion, Troy is being a very large baby and it’s actually annoying, but at the same time, I get it. Don’t ask.
Going Once, Going Twice…
Tree mail eludes to the possibility that the challenge will be an auction, and sure enough, they are RIGHT! I LOVE these!! I wish we would have done this on my season! Each castaway has $500 dollars, bidding is in increments of $20, you can’t pool your money or your items. Not wasting any time, Chelsea immediately spends $160 for three donuts and an iced coffee. Valid bet. Sabrina (gosh I love her), bids $400 for a margarita, chips and guacamole. I hope that was a stiff margarita!! Jeff continues with a survivor shower, protein shake, BLT, peanut butter and chocolate, and the best being letters from home. Oh man, I cry every time. Both Alicia and Tarzan spend $500 on their letters and of course I’m sitting here in tears listening to Alicia reading her letter out loud. I remember when we received our letters and you’re just so overcome with emotion of finally feeling love from someone. Real, true, honest love. It’s an incredible feeling that’s really hard to put into words. However, in terms of “game importance” Troy gets the coveted item with an advantage in the next immunity challenge. He immediately moves to the second round and has a 1 in 4 shot of winning immunity. HUGE opportunity for him, since he is clearly the next on the chopping block.
After their return to camp, Troyzan pretends to be searching for the idol and sees Kim following him. He pretends to shove something quickly into his pocket, clearly trying anything to stay alive.
“This Is My Island”
The challenge begins with each person having to untie a series of knots to expose a ring. Troyzan is automatically through to the second round, and Tarzan, Kim, and Christina move on as well. The next part involves them tossing coconuts off of a trampoline and onto a target. Troyzan moves on, complete with his battle cry … “This is my island, you can’t beat me.” Sabrina’s response? “Oh my God, please knock this fool out!” All of a sudden, the girls are cheering for Tarzan, which is odd. The final leg of the challenge, the two men have to shoot coconuts at a wall of targets in a kind-of tic-tac-toe fashion. It’s a back and forth competition, but in the end Troyzan wins and I am actually excited for him!! I know what it’s like to be in a position where everyone is hoping and praying that you lose. I loved watching my season back and seeing the reaction on everyone’s faces when I won two immunity challenges in a row. The victory is SO sweet.
(How good is that title?) Sorry…I get so annoyed with the scrambling, even though obviously I get the point, I just have to make it better. Chelsea and Kim conclude that to take a girl out right now would be very risky and would cause too much chaos. They decide it would be best to vote Leif off, but even though Troyzan is safe, he’s still trying to set something up for himself. He gathers Leif, Tarzan, Christina, and Alicia to try and rally them against the rest. I’ve said from the beginning that Troy is a power player and right now, its Troyzan vs. Kim in this game. They are definitely running the show. Of course, come tribal council, we’re left to wonder, who’s gonna go home…
The girls come down on Troyzan for being arrogant and yelling in their faces when he won the challenge. Let’s be real…if any of those people had defeated 7 others, they would be pretty pumped too, so I don’t understand what all the fuss is about. Tribal ensues with Jeff trying to get to the nitty grit of the alliances. Leif is voted out and becomes the fourth member of the jury.
Top 3 Players Of The Week
1. Troyzan – He was the man this episode. Coming up HUGE when he had too with a target on his back. I’m interested to see if he can carry the heroics into next week.
2. Kim – (Shocker!) I think she’s been on my list pretty much every week and rightfully so. She’s a G. Plain and simple.
3. Sabrina – Because I met her last week and I just think she’s amazing, so there! :)
