Tammy Bruce: Senate Democrats Are ‘Infantilizing’ and ‘Re-Victimizing’ Christine Ford

Fox News contributor Tammy Bruce slammed congressional Democrats on Wednesday night, saying they’ve turned Christine Ford into a victim of politics because of how they’ve seized upon her sexual assault allegations against Brett Kavanaugh.

Bruce was on Sean Hannity‘s show for a conversation on Ford’s reluctance to testify before the senate until the FBI investigates her claims first. After slamming Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and Democratic senators for how they handled Ford’s accusations throughout Kavanaugh’s nomination, Bruce turned things around and accused them of “infantilizing” Ford by sweeping her up into their machinations while saying she’s not emotionally prepared to speak.

“This argument that she is being bullied and this rush of the hearing is absurd. I would posit she has been mislea, that Dr. Ford is probably not in charge of any of this at all. I think she was likely promised something that she wouldn’t have to testify. I think Dianne Feinstein thought the accusation alone would knock this nomination off of its seat, and that is what they expected. The doctor is finding and they are all finding they were wrong. Now you know what they are doing? They are in infantilizing her, and they are re-victimizing her by saying she is emotionally not prepared…A strong woman is now being revictimized by the framework of rhetoric and we should be upset and offended at the least.”
