Tapper: Trump Was ‘Erratic and Going Off the Rails’ But Then ‘Turned It Around’
CNN’s Jake Tapper tonight said that despite Donald Trump being “erratic and going off the rails” early on in the debate, he managed to turn it around after the first half hour.
As opposed to last time, when Tapper said Trump was fine in the first 30 minutes before going downhill, he said that Trump ended up having an “effective” prosecution of Hillary Clinton‘s scandals as the debate continued, and it may help to stem the bleeding that started after the old audio of his shocking sexist remarks was released.
As for Clinton, Tapper didn’t think she was effective in hitting back at Trump, even though she’s still winning the race.
But in the grand scheme of things, he doubted that this would effect the race that much.
