Attorney General Eric Holder took a swipe today at what he categorized as Fox News’ obsession with talking about radical Islam. He said if they didn’t talk have this to talk about, “they would have nothing else to talk about.”
Well, obviously Fox heard Holder, and the co-hosts of The Five responded just hours after Holder spoke. Eric Bolling had the most direct take, saying “the Obama administration talks tougher to Fox News than they do to ISIS.”
Kimberly Guilfoyle said Fox is just ‘reporting the truth because we’re not afraid of words,” while Greg Gutfeld said Holder’s just sore they’re “happening to report” on issues related to radical Islam. Dana Perino rattled off a list of other officials and politicians (including one House Democrat) who have also leveled similar criticisms about identifying radical Islam to the White House.
Julie Roginsky did think it was important to clarify that the U.S. is “not at war with Islam,” but otherwise agreed with her co-hosts that it’s “a little beneath” a high-ranking Cabinet official to take such a public shot at a media outlet like that.
