CNN’s Don Lemon has some big fans over at Fox News. Thursday afternoon, The Five’s hosts took some time to applaud Lemon for the way he grilled DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz last night on OutFront.
Eric Bolling praised Lemon for asking Wasserman-Schultz a “very, very good question” and called the entire interview “fantastic.”
During his interview, which mainly focused on New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie‘s bridge scandal, Lemon asked Wasserman-Schultz what the “difference” is between Christie claiming not to know about his aides’ plans disrupt traffic to exact political retribution and President Barack Obama claiming not to know about issues surrounding the NSA and Obamacare.
“It’s good to see the media waking up from hibernation over these outrageous scandals,” Greg Gutfeld said. “It’s about time.”
Kimberly Guilfoyle went even further with her praise of Lemon, saying, “I thought it was great questioning. I thought I was watching Fox News for a second there, and then I rubbed my eyes.” She said more journalists should be like Lemon: “Ask the pointed questions, be a journalist, do your job.”
