The Simpsons Envision Donald Trump’s Response to Call from Situation Room
A new episode of The Simpsons is taking a satirical look at the differences between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton if they ever receive a phone call while President in which America’s security hangs in the balance.
Marge and Homer Simpson are watching TV from their bedroom, but they decide they can’t make love to each other until they’ve sorted out who they’re going to vote for this year. A new ad pops on in front of them, asking who America would trust to take a 3 A.M. phone call from the Situation Room.
Bill Clinton answers the phone, though he’s sadly reminded that the calls now go to his fully-dressed wife who’s already awake right next to him. The scene then pans to Trump, who’s sitting next to a book of Adolf Hitler speeches, and ignoring the call in order to finish a new mean tweet about Elizabeth Warren.
Trump eventually answers the phone, but he takes way too long to address the emergency because his attendants go through the extensive procedure to get his physical appearance ready. Trump realizes its too late to stave off China’s advancing fleet, but it’s okay, because he has an emergency solution: a wall in the Pacific Ocean.
