The View Asks Bernie Sanders About His Fans Berning For Trump if Hillary Wins Nomination

Bernie Sanders has voiced major disapproval for Donald Trump in the past, but he was asked Tuesday on The View about the possibility that a significant numbers of fans will Feel The Trump if Sanders falls.

Even though Hillary Clinton currently holds the upper hand on the Vermont Senator, Sanders told the ladies today that he would continue to “invigorate” the voters and hold on as long as he can for a chance at the Democratic nomination. The subject eventually turned to Trump, whom Sanders reminded everyone was a “bigot,” a “demagogue,” and a man with “nothing to say about the important issues facing our country.”

Eventually, Joy Behar asked Sanders what he felt about some of his voters promising to back Trump if Sanders fails to topple Clinton. Sanders responded that he is still a more favorable anti-Trump candidate than Clinton, but that he will work to make sure the mogul doesn’t become president no matter what happens.
