The View Has Reportedly Filled the Rest of Its Host Slots

The View has apparently found two permanent co-hosts to sit in with Rosie O’Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg. Multiple reports tonight are saying that Rosie Perez and Nicolle Wallace are close to solidifying deals to join the daytime show.

Both women have guest-hosted on the show before. Perez is an actress who’s been in films like Fearless and Perdita Durango. Wallace is a former McCain-Palin advisor who currently works as a political analyst for ABC News and appears frequently on political programs like Morning Joe.

E! Online has put out a slightly different report, saying that Perez will be be joining The View, but says the final spot is still a toss-up between Wallace and Extra host Lauren Sanchez.

If Perez and Wallace are confirmed for the two slots, they would be joining Goldberg and returning host O’Donnell, after the departure of both Sherri Shepherd and Jenni McCarthy months ago. And the show is also getting a behind-the-scenes revamp, as former Rachel Maddow executive producer Bill Wolff is officially taking over The View.

Update- 10:15 pm: ABC has officially confirmed the news. Both Perez and Wallace will be joining The View later this month.
