The View’s Raven-Symoné Promises to Leave the Country if a Republican ‘Gets Nominated’
That IS so Raven!
During yesterday’s episode of The View, co-host Raven-Symonè confirmed she would be leaving the country. At least, that’s what she implied with her remarks…
Coming in from a break, Whoopi Goldberg announced that Symonè had an “election confession” she had to make. What was it? A plan for her to move to Canada along with her family if a Republican “gets nominated.”
“I already have my ticket,” Symonè said. “I literally bought my ticket, I swear.”
Symonè’s co-hosts naturally ribbed her about her seriousness, asking whether she’d be their “Canadian correspondent” or even if she has a real plan at all. Of course, since the Republicans are one of America’s two major political parties, and one gets nominated as a presidential candidate every election cycle, The View might be down one panelist in the next few months.
Now, it’s quite possible that Symonè meant to say she’s leaving if a Republican becomes president, or she could just be pulling everyone’s legs. Still, if she’s serious about heading to the great white north, there’s at least one option she can turn to.
