Tom Shillue Is the New Host of Fox’s Red Eye

Comedian Tom Shillue will replace Greg Gutfeld as host of Fox’s late-night comedic talk show Red Eye, a network spokesperson confirmed to Mediaite.

The program’s original host Greg Gutfeld departed the show in early March to host his own eponymous Sunday evening show for the network. Since then, the show’s most regular panelists have rotated in hosting duties: Shillue, Andy Levy, Jedediah Bila, Gavin McInnes, Sherrod Small, among others.

Our own readers selected either McInnes and Shillue as their top two choices to fill the vacant hosting role. The latter will take over the show at an as-yet-unknown date.

Shillue’s comedic background runs deep: Not only is he a long-time Red Eye panelist, but he is a former Daily Show correspondent, a frequent opening act for Jim Gaffigan, and is one of the four members of Jimmy Fallon‘s “Ragtime Gals” barbershop quartet act.
