On Wednesday night, Tomi Lahren sounded off on the ongoing gun control debate in the wake of the Las Vegas massacre.
The Fox News contributor told Sean Hannity that she feels “safe and secure” when an ex-military or ex-police officer is around her with a gun that that there are “hundreds” of instances aside from last Sunday where the shooter attacked from 32 stories above when a “good guy with a gun” stopped a situation.
Lahren called out those who “want to lecture” her on gun control and told them if someone is “hellbent” on murdering people, that person wouldn’t “follow the law.”
“They’ll use explosives,” she said. “Ariana Grande — look at what happened at her concert, another tragedy. Explosives. They’re going to find a way. Look at what happened in Boston. Criminals, terrorists, psychos — they don’t obey our laws, they don’t care about your gun control and if anything, when you have a gun-free zone, you’re neutering everyone there.”
Lahren then asked why others “in the news” and “in the celebrity sphere” spending so much time “analyzing” the shooter’s guns.
“I want to know more about him, to be honest,” she continued. “I want to know more about his girlfriend. I want to know more about victims. I want to know about their families.”
She added “where there’s smoke, there’s fire” and based on the lack if information that is known about the shooter.
“All we’re talking about is the weapons that he used and the firearms he used?” she asked. “No, something stinks.”
