Trevor Noah: Is Trump Crowd Size Argument a Metaphor for Something?

Trevor Noah tonight wondered if the pushback on crowd size from President Trump‘s administration sounds a little too much like… well…

“I would never suggest that the President of the United States sees his inauguration crowd as some kind of metaphor for his manhood, but the way he and his defenders talk about it, it’s almost unavoidable.”

He likened one of the explanations from Team Trump to the “shrinkage” argument and reacted to another––Obama had a bigger crowd because the first black president’s inauguration was a massive historical event––by saying, “I know it’s a stereotype, but black presidents do tend to have bigger crowds.”

Noah also tackled the Women’s March on Saturday and showed Daily Show correspondents interacting with people down at the inauguration.
