Trevor Noah Mocks Lack of ‘Juicy Details’ at Comey Hearing: ‘Like Listening to a Clean Hip-Hop Song’
On Thursday night’s episode of The Daily Show, Trevor Noah gave his analysis of the former FBI Director James Comey‘s controversial hearing, but he couldn’t help but notice that the senators seemed to have kept the “juicy details” for themselves.
He then showed a montage of senators referring to the closed-door hearing after Comey couldn’t answer their questions.
“Then why the hell are we watching the open session for?” Noah angrily asked.
Noah elaborated on his frustration, “With all of these ‘closed-session’ answers, it felt like we walked away with more questions than we had walking in.”
He still thought the Comey hearing was “cool,” but “basically, it was like listening to a clean version of a hip-hop song,” adding, “it felt like we missed all the explicit parts.”
Noah then broke into song, a very, very clean song (full lyrics are available in the “closed session”).
