Trevor Noah Mocks Outrage Over Kaepernick: Don’t We Demand Athletes Be Role Models?

Trevor Noah
mocked the outrage over Colin Kaepernick tonight (even if he was slightly more bothered by Americans’ insistence on calling the sport “football”).

He ran through a montage of Fox Newsers expressing outrage, including Tucker Carlson saying people should laugh Kaepernick’s face. Noah giggled and said, “You’re so tough in the studio..”

He found it weird that people always say “use your fame to make a difference,” but once Kaepernick did people cried, “Shut up! we don’t pay you to think!”

Noah brought up #VeteransForKaepernick and how troops are actually showing support for Kaepernick’s right to protest, despite people voicing outrage on behalf of the troops.
