Trevor Noah Rips Hillary For Deflecting From Husband’s Affair ‘Not in a Position to be Throwing Stones’
On Monday night, Trevor Noah criticized Hillary Clinton over her defense of her husband of what many believe was an abuse of power when he had his affair with Monica Lewinsky.
Over the weekend, Clinton was asked if Bill Clinton should have resigned for his affair, which she answered “absolutely not.” And she dismissed the idea that the President of the United States having sexual relations with a White House intern was not an abuse of power because Lewinsky was “an adult” and quickly pivoted to the allegations that have been made about the current president, Donald Trump.
Noah thought if she had more interviews like that, she’ll probably want go “go back into the woods.”
“Nooooo, Hillary,” Noah reacted. “That’s not cool.”
“Maybe it was different in the 90s, but today, I think we’re all understanding that there’s a massive power imbalance between an intern and the President of the United States, alright?” Noah told his audience. “I mean, forget intern! The President of the United States with anyone is a power imbalance.”
The Daily Show host also blasted Clinton for “trying to deflect” from her husband’s wrongdoings and make this about President Trump.
“You’re not in a position to be throwing stones at someone, Hillary,” Noah told the failed presidential candidate, “especially when you’re literally sitting in a glass house.”
