On Tuesday night, Trevor Noah ripped President Trump during his second show in Chicago for the delayed response to the four fallen Green Berets that were killed in Niger.
The Daily Show host noted that at the press conference he held with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Trump made people forget their personal issues by “creating an entirely new issue.”
Trump was asked by a reporter why he hasn’t contacted the families of the deceased Green Berets, and his answer wasn’t satisfactory to Noah.
“I’m not sure what’s worse,” Noah reacted,”the fact that President Trump said nothing after four American soldiers were killed in Niger or the fact that his first public statement about it was basically ‘The dog ate my homework?'”
He then mocked Trump for criticizing President Obama instead of admitting fault.
“See what he said?” Noah asked the audience. “‘President Obama never called. I call and I write. I also haven’t called and I didn’t write. But I do, except when I don’t, which is now.'”
