Trump Addresses Inaugural Concertgoers: ‘There’s Never Been a Movement Like This’

President-elect Donald Trump delivered brief remarks at tonight’s inaugural concert and revisited some of the themes he touched upon during the 2016 campaign.

He said he’s just the messenger for a big movement––”a movement like we’ve never seen anywhere in the world, they say. There’s never been a movement like this. And it’s something very very special. And we’re gonna unify our country.”

He brought up the crowds he attracted and how people “didn’t want to give us credit” for the big win, speaking once again of “the forgotten man and the forgotten woman” in America.

The president-elect thanked his family and promised the crowd he would be doing great things “that haven’t been done for our country for many, many decades.”
