Trump Brings Ivanka Up on Stage in North Dakota: ‘She Actually Said, Daddy, Can I Go With You?’

President Donald Trump appeared in North Dakota this afternoon to pitch tax reform to the masses. And while making his case at an oil refinery in Bismark, the president asked the crowd if they’d want to see his daughter Ivanka, who traveled with him to the event.

“You know, sometimes they’ll say, ‘He can’t be that bad a guy — look at Ivanka,'” he stated.

He then called his daughter to come up on the stage with him, pointing out that she “wanted to make the trip” and asked him if she could go.

“She actually said, ‘Daddy, can I go with you?’ I like that, right,” Trump noted. “‘Daddy, can I go with you?’ I said, ‘Yes you can.'”

And with that, Ivanka strode on to the stage, saying “Hi” to the folks in North Dakota, letting them know that they “love this state.”

Earlier today, it was reported that Republican leaders were a bit miffed when Ivanka walked into a meeting the president was holding with top Congressional leaders because after she entered the room, the meeting “careened off topic.”
