Trump Complains About Audience Booing Him Over Plan to Close Parts of the Internet
Donald Trump tonight defended his plan to close down parts of the internet to combat ISIS and complained about members of the audience who booed him.
He told Wolf Blitzer that terrorists recruit online and he does not believe that people who want to target and kill Americans should be able to use “our internet.”
Later on in the debate, Rand Paul confronted him on this and said to do that Trump would be “getting rid of the First Amendment.” He said anyone who believes in the Constitution should have reservations about supporting Trump.
Trump shot back that if ISIS kills Americans, Americans should be able to kill ISIS, he said he wants to target parts of Syria and Iraq to “infiltrate their internet.”
And then he got booed.
Trump complained about this and said they’re out of their minds if they’re objecting to infiltrating the conversations of terrorists.
