If Donald Trump was mad enough to throw things after his Tuesday afternoon meeting with Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, just wait until he hears the joke Stephen Colbert made about the spectacle.
On Tuesday night’s edition of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the late night host devoted pretty much all of his monologue to the now-infamous Oval Office photo-op-gone-wrong, and its aftermath.
He even had jokes for Pelosi, who told Democratic colleagues, after the meeting, that “It goes to show you: You get into a tinkle contest with a skunk, you get tinkle all over you.”
“Not to question your folksy metaphor, madam,” Colbert said, “but if you get in a tinkle contest with anything, you get tinkle all over you. No one wins. That’s why they banned it from the Olympics.”
He then recounted Pelosi’s comments about Trump’s “manhood,” and added “So the wall is a metaphor for his manhood. No wonder he’s having trouble erecting it.”
Yes, and if he doesn’t get something done soon, he may have trouble maintaining his election.
