Trump Fires Shots: Iran ‘Should Have Thanked Barack Obama For Making That Deal’
Following his announcement that he was going to decertify the Iran Nuclear Deal and issue new sanctions on the regime, President Donald Trump spoke to reporters before heading out for the weekend. And he made sure to get some shots in on his predecessor.
“We will see what happens with Iran — we’re very unhappy with Iran,” Trump told the press. “They have not treated us with the kind of respect they should be treating. They should have thanked Barack Obama for making that deal.”
And he wasn’t done digging at Obama.
“They were gone, they were economically gone,” POTUS declared. “He infused $100 to $150 billion into their economy. He gave them $1.7 billion in cash and they should be saying thank you, President Obama. They didn’t say that.”
Way to keep it classy, President Trump.
