Trump: I Didn’t Have a Schedule, But If I Did, I’d Say We’re ‘Substantially Ahead of Schedule’

President Donald Trump spoke at the Values Voter Summit earlier today and provided us with some memorable moments. He declared victory in the War on Christmas, telling the crowd of evangelical voters they can say “Merry Christmas” again. POTUS also discussed his meeting with the “president of the Virgin Islands.” (Yeah, he was talking about a US territory.)

Trump also tossed out a quote that would have made Yogi Berra proud.

After thanking the crowd for its support, Trump stated that he wanted to share with them how he was delivering on his promise of defending their shared values. He then boasted that he had “followed through on one promise after another” since entering the White House.

In fact, not only is Trump fulfilling his campaign promises, he’s doing it at an accelerated pace. Just ask him.

“I didn’t have a schedule, but if I did have a schedule, I would say we are substantially ahead of schedule,” Trump said.

He went on to point to the appointment of Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court and the signing of a religious liberty executive order as promises he’s kept.
