Trump: If Obama Had Information on Russia, ‘Why Didn’t He Do Something About It?’

Following his Fox & Friends interview this morning, President Trump sat down with Pete Hegseth for an interview that will air on Fox & Friends Weekend this weekend.

A preview clip released by Fox tonight––airing on Martha MacCallum‘s program The Story––shows the President’s reaction to that big exposé in The Washington Post today on how President Obama and his administration responded to Russian interference in the election.

One former senior official in the Obama White House said of their response, “It is the hardest thing about my entire time in government to defend… I feel like we sort of choked.”

Trump reacted to the report today and talked about the information his predecessor received:

“He did nothing about it. But nobody wants to talk about that… If he had the information, why didn’t he do something about it?”

You can watch part of the segment-–including the clip of President Trump––above, via Fox News.

UPDATE –– 8:47 pm ET: Trump later tweeted the same observation:
