As Donald Trump continues his fight with just about everybody in the media, CBS Evening News previewed a question from Scott Pelley‘s interview for 60 Minutes about why he dishes out the heat in public fights, but can’t take any punches without immediately firing back.
“If you did a bad story on me for 60 Minutes, if it were a fair story I wouldn’t be thin-skinned at all,” Trump said.
After some more complaining about how horrible the media is to him, Trump, of course, said that there was a difference between bad stories and lies, and his beef is with the later. “They write lies, they write false stories. They know they’re false. It makes no difference. And frankly I don’t call it thin-skinned, I’m angry.”
While Trump also continued to say that Megyn Kelly‘s questions from the first debate were “unfair” Pelley grilled him about the fact that one night of tough questions led to a week at war with her and all of Fox News.
Naturally, Trump promised that he can handle “fair stories,” but that he’ll fight “harder than anybody” against false stories.
