President Donald Trump took a moment during his Erie, PA rally tonight to go on a tangent mockingly bringing up the “rules” of the #MeToo movement.
As he talked about Republicans trying to win Pennsylvania (which Trump did in 2016), he said this:
“You know, there’s an expression, but under the rules of #MeToo I’m not allowed to use that expression any more. I can’t do it. It’s the person that got away. See, in the old days it was a little different… I would do it except for these people up there. They would say ‘Did you hear what President Trump said?’ ‘Did you hear what he said?'”
He again said his replacement will be “the person that got away.”
