Trump Objects to the Idea He ‘Rolled Back’ His Muslim Ban: ‘It’s an Expansion’

During his RNC convention speech, Donald Trump gave an indication that his proposed Muslim ban is being rolled back. But when asked specifically about that today, Trump said that is not the case.

Trump has previously altered the ban, giving indication that he’s backing away from that “total and complete shutdown of Muslims” into the U.S. and focusing more on territory.

Chuck Todd asked Trump if that’s a “rollback.” Trump said no:

“I don’t think so. I actually don’t think it’s a rollback. In fact, you could say it’s an expansion. I’m looking now at territory. People were so upset when I used the word Muslim. Oh, you can’t use the word Muslim. Remember this. And I’m okay with that, because I’m talking territory instead of Muslim.”

He indicated he would be revealing more details soon.
