Trump on Vince Foster: Shouldn’t Be Part of Campaign, But ‘People Are Skeptical’
Donald Trump was asked about the death of Vince Foster earlier today, given how he raised questions about it this week and seemed to not completely dismiss the conspiracy theories about Clinton involvement in his death.
Trump said he was simply “asked” about it, saying, “I really know nothing about the Vince Foster situation, haven’t known anything about it… A lot of people are very skeptical as to what happened.”
Trump did go on to say that this shouldn’t be part of the campaign, “unless some evidence to the contrary of what I’ve seen comes up.”
The Clintons haven’t directly responded to this, but Hillary Clinton sent out this very knowing tweet last night:
Donald Trump is fueling conspiracy theories out on the campaign trail. Can you imagine that in the Situation Room? https://t.co/rsXhqHxjeU
