Trump on White Supremacist Support: ‘Hate Groups Are Not for Me’

Donald Trump today continued to dismiss the David Duke-KKK controversy surrounding him by saying on on Face the Nation he has no patience for any hate groups.

He complained to John Dickerson that people keep bugging him about the KKK support after he has disavowed them so many times, asking, “how many times do I have to reject?”

Trump said, “From the time I’m five years old I rejected them.”

Dickerson asked him about the fact he’s getting support from white supremacists in the first place and if he wants those votes.

Trump said no, but he can’t do anything about it. That being said, he made it clear, “I don’t like a group of hate, hate groups are not for me.”
