After meeting with survivors of the horrific Las Vegas shooting in University Medical Center on Wednesday, President Donald Trump made some brief remarks to the press praising the “incredible tribute to professionalism” he’s witnessed:
“There’s tremendous bravery. The police department, incredible. The people themselves, incredible. People leaving ambulances to have somebody else go because they thought they were hurt even more so. The professionalism of the doctors and the medical staffs at this hospital and other hospitals.”
He sent a message to the injured that “we’re with you 100 percent,” adding that he invited a lot of them to the White House.
When a reporter asked the President about gun violence, he said, “We’re not gonna talk about that today.”
