Trump Promotes Sean Hannity Appearance on Fox & Friends, Botches Timing: ‘Great! 8:18 A.M.’
President Donald Trump has been known to tweet about interviews on his favorite morning show, Fox & Friends, but rarely has he promoted a segment before it actually aired.
On Monday morning, Trump made a strangely inaccurate promotion of Sean Hannity’s appearance on Fox & Friends, tweeting, “@seanhannity on @foxandfriends now!”
.@seanhannity on @foxandfriends now! Great! 8:18 A.M.
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 19, 2018
“Great! 8:18 A.M.” Trump added in the tweet posted at 8:16 a.m. EST.
What’s weird about the president’s latest tweet is that Hannity was not on Fox & Friends “now.” He’s scheduled to appear on the show at 8:30, to discuss, according to Steve Doocy, “the left” being “fired up” over the firing of deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe.
