Trump Rails Against ‘Drunken’ Sen. Warner, Calls for Public Strzok Hearing While Watching Fox News

President Trump was running late to his South Carolina rally tonight, and he was apparently watching Fox News on Air Force One in the meantime.

The President tweeted tonight about Senator Mark Warner and FBI agent Peter Strzok:

The dig at Warner is in reference to something Politico reported on this weekend:

SEN. MARK WARNER (D-Va.) hosted a dinner Friday night for more than 100 guests at his house on Martha’s Vineyard as part of the DSCC’S annual Majority Trust retreat. OVERHEARD: Warner, the vice chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, joking to the crowd: “If you get me one more glass of wine, I’ll tell you stuff only Bob Mueller and I know. If you think you’ve seen wild stuff so far, buckle up. It’s going to be a wild couple of months.”

But these two tweets happened to come minutes after Fox News’ Martha MacCallum covered Warner and then Strzok.

In the video above (via Fox News), MacCallum talks with Axios’ Jonathan Swan about the Warner joke, followed by the Strzok hearing.

And then minutes later, Judge Andrew Napolitano appeared with MacCallum and said this about Strzok:

“The two of you created the most compelling case I have heard for why this hearing should be open to the public rather than behind closed doors. It is our representatives seeking the truth about our election in 2016, and we have the right to know how this guy defends what appears to be indefensible.”
