Donald Trump today referred to the police protests going on in cities across the country in recent months as “race riots.”
He said, “We’re a divided nation and each week it seems we’re getting more divided with race riots on our streets on a monthly basis.”
He added that he was told to “not call them race riots, but they are.”
And when he invoked Charlotte, he called it “a great city where I have property.”
