Trump Voices Concern Over Missing Saudi Journalist Jamal Khashoggi: ‘I Do Not Like it’

President Donald Trump finally weighed in tonight on the international concerns over Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

Khashoggi is missing and was reportedly last seen entering the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, and there is great concern that he has been killed. The Washington Post, where he regularly wrote columns, has called for authorities to release any and all evidence regarding what happened to him.

During some brief remarks to reporters earlier tonight, Trump was asked if he’s concerned about Khashoggi and said, “I’m concerned about it.”

“I don’t like hearing about it,” he said. “And hopefully that will sort itself out. Right now nobody knows anything about it, but there’s some pretty bad stories going around. I do not like it.”
