Trump’s Message to Those in the Path of Hurricane Harvey: ‘Good Luck to Everybody’
With Hurricane Harvey now a category 3 storm and hitting landfall in Texas, President Donald Trump was asked if he had a message for those in the path of the potentially deadly hurricane.
While walking to Marine One as he was about to depart for Camp David, Trump flashed a thumbs-up and said “good luck to everybody” when a reporter shouted out what his message was to the people of Texas.

And with that, the president got on board the helicopter to head to the presidential retreat.
Trump’s “good luck” comes after he tweeted out that locals should “heed the advice and orders” of officials and Homeland Security adviser Tom Bossert declared that the upcoming disaster was “right up” Trump’s alley.

UPDATE –– 5:13 pm ET: Trump later tweeted out this message from Camp David:
Just arrived at Camp David where I am closely watching the path and doings of Hurricane Harvey, as it strengthens to a Category 3. BE SAFE!
