‘Try It’: Roland Martin Clashes With Scaramucci Over Trump Attacks on FBI

Anthony Scaramucci is back on TV again, and this morning he clashed with Roland Martin as the ABC This Week panel tackled the Nunes memo and Republican attacks on the FBI and DOJ.

Martin brought up the time someone went on TV in 2015 and said that Trump is a “hack politician” and added, “I’ll tell you who he’s gonna be president of… the Queens County bullies association.”

And then he turned to the man who said it: Scaramucci.

Martin continued on to talk about the Trump administration’s response to Congress passing Russia sanctions, while Scaramucci insisted that Trump is “doing an enormous amount.”

He also dryly “thanked” Martin for bringing up his 2015 comments and explained, “He was coming at me and I came at him in the same way I’m gonna come at you.”

Martin shot back, “Try it.”

Scaramucci claimed that Trump loves the FBI and CIA and law enforcement, pointing to how “they rushed him for selfies” during multiple campaign stops.

Later on in the segment, Martin bewilderedly asked Scaramucci if he really doesn’t think Trump should speak to Robert Mueller.

Scaramucci said he does not, because “as a lawyer, I don’t want him caught in a gotcha moment.”
