Tucker Carlson Ends Heated Interview With Climate Change Filmmaker By Calling Him ‘Dopey Guy’
Another night, another Tucker Carlson interview that ends with the host smugly dismissing his guest with a smirk and some choice insults.
While Laura Ingraham filled in for Carlson for the majority of tonight’s broadcast of Tucker Carlson Tonight, Tucker taped an interview with climate change filmmaker Josh Fox that was shown this evening. And, yes, it ended up being a combative affair, like most of Carlson’s segments featuring liberals tend to be.
After Fox dismissed Carlson’s claim that environmental activists are essentially telling Africans to stop having so many kids, it only went downhill from there. The Gasland director would go on to press Carlson several times on whether he understood the science behind climate change while the conservative commentator grew increasingly tired of Fox dominating the conversation. Here’s a sample of their banter:
Carlson: Can I ask you a question, or are you going to continue with this stuff? Let me ask you a simple question.
Fox: You still haven’t answered my question.
Carlson: I’m not a scientist, no, I don’t fully understand it.
By the end, Fox stated that he was just going to keep talking about how millennials were inheriting an incredibly unstable world due to climate change, leading Carlson to summarily dismiss the filmmaker.
Interrupting Fox, Carlson declared that this had gotten too “stupid” before observing that Fox was “every Hollywood profound dopey guy invoking science.”
And, after a few more smirks and sarcastic laughs, the segment was done, with Tucker seemingly declaring himself the victor once again.
