Tucker Carlson Guest Singes Host: Guatemala and Honduras Aren’t Mexico … Important to Say That ‘On Your Network’

During a trainwreck debate on immigration, Tucker Carlson was singed with a scathing barb from Univision anchor Enrique Acevedo.

The comment was made during the opening block of Tucker Carlson Tonight on Thursday. Acevedo swiped at the anchor by poking fun at a recent Fox News gaffe.

“I’ve said this a hundred times on your show,” Acevedo said. “We can spend a little more money in places like Central America. Countries like Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador — which are not Mexico. It’s important to say that on your network”

The comment was a reference to an errant chyron from this past weekend on Fox & Friends which read: Trump Cuts U.S. Aid to 3 Mexican Countries.

The segment was a mess right out of the box as Carlson, seconds after introducing his guest, grilled Acevedo by asking him to state the number of immigrants he believes should be allowed into the United States each year. From there, it got truly messy as Carlson accused his guest of ducking the question, and Acevedo lamenting that the subject of immigration is “completely hyper-polarized” in the United States.
