Tucker Carlson: ‘How Did We Wind Up With a Country in Which Feminists do Science?’
Tucker Carlson talked about global warming on Thursday night by asking the hard-hitting questions regular viewers would expect from him: “How did we wind up with a country in which feminists do science?”
The Fox News host broached the subject when he brought up a Journal of Consumer Research research paper from 2016 that argues environmental mindfulness is a “stereotypically feminine trait,” while men are less likely to embrace such patterns.
“If we want to save the environment we have to suppress men,” Carlson summed up in his grand takeaway.
When Carlson brought Mark Steyn in to talk about this, he asked his
sidekick regular contributor “How did we wind up with a country in which feminists do science? Isn’t that why you’re sort of bound to get a study like this, right?”
Carlson chuckled and grinned as Steyn spoke against the paper, saying it presumes that men will consciously act to melt the polar ice caps if their masculinity is somehow offended.
Since you’ve made it this far and you’ve been so good, here’s a little bonus content:
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), the right’s absolute favorite congresswoman from the left, has noticed this segment and had something to say about it:
Democracy and civil rights is how we got a country where “feminists do science.”
(Also, note how he’s drumming up fear around women’s rights to create suspicion around climate change policy. Tells you a lot.) https://t.co/yquFeP7vYp
