Tucker Carlson to Take Over 7 P.M. Slot at Fox News

tuckerFox News host and The Daily Caller founder Tucker Carlson will reportedly take over hosting the network’s 7 P.M. weekday slot following the 2016 election.

The Los Angeles Times reports that Carlson will take over On the Record, hosted by Greta Van Susteran until her departure from Fox and currently hosted by Brit Hume. Hume apparently confirmed the news in a Thursday tweet.

Carlson will become one of a select few to have hosted a primetime show on all three major cable networks. Carlson was the host of CNN’s Crossfire and MSNBC’s Tucker before joining Fox News in 2009. He is currently the host of the weekend edition of Fox & Friends.

[Full disclosure: Carlson once lent the author of this piece his car. He owns nothing but Grateful Dead CDs.]
