Tuesday Cable Ratings: CNN Nearly Triples MSNBC in Primetime Demo

While MSNBC came out slightly ahead of CNN in total viewers during primetime hours Tuesday night, CNN nearly tripled MSNBC in the 25-54 demo. CNN averaged 289K viewers in the demo between 8 and 11 p.m. while MSNBC averaged just 102K, with The Rachel Maddow Show as the only hour to top 100K. Fox News came in first place with a strong 510K, with both Bill O’Reilly and Megyn Kelly‘s shows topping 500K.
