With just 70K viewers in the 25-54 demo on Tuesday morning, CNN’s New Day came in fourth place, behind not just Fox News’ Fox & Friends (218K) and MSNBC’s Morning Joe (71K) but also HLN’s Morning Express (94K). In total viewers, New Day was third with 257K, trailing Fox & Friends (913K) and Morning Joe (369) but ahead of Morning Express (230K).
The ratings loss comes on the same day that network president Jeff Zucker touted CNN’s morning ratings success in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
