VIDEO: UFC Star Tased by Cops After Asking for Three Forms of Police ID
As our friends over at SportsGrid reported, Herman, his wife Madeleine, and their infant child were driving through Dekalb County, Ind., when police pulled him over for allegedly speeding with his lights off.
Herman’s wife videotaped what happened next: The MMA fighter exited the vehicle and asked the officers for three forms of identification — a common practice among police skeptics.
Suffice it to say, the officers were not amused and proceeded to tase Herman, knocking him to the ground and pouncing on him. This is because, according to the police report, they felt he was being “aggressive”:
David exited his vehicle and approached Officers in an aggressive manner. David was given multiple warnings to get on the ground and failed to comply. David had to be tased in order to be taken into custody. An infant and adult female were also present in the vehicle.
He was arrested for “resisting law enforcement with a vehicle, battery against law enforcement and neglect of a dependent, all felonies.”
