Wallace Confronts Manafort Over Reports Trump Had ‘Difficulty’ Making VP Decision

manafort wallaceChris Wallace confronted Donald Trump campaign chair Paul Manafort this morning over the reports of how Trump was trying to get out of picking Mike Pence for veep at the last second.

Multiple news outlets reported last week that after all those reports Trump was picking Pence, Trump kept trying to get out of it for who knows what reason. CNN, NBC, Fox, etc. all reported the same thing.

Wallace asked Manafort about those reports, posing the question: “If he had that much difficulty making his first presidential-type decision, is he fit to be commander-in-chief?”

Manafort completely dismissed those reporters and said they were untrue.

Wallace was persistent, citing a top GOP official who told him Trump was trying to get out of it because he considers Pence boring.
