Watch: Dan Abrams And Nancy Grace Argue Over Strategy In Casey Anthony Trial
This morning on Good Morning America, ABC News legal analyst and Mediaite founder Dan Abrams joined HLN’s Nancy Grace to discuss why the judge in the ongoing Casey Anthony trial decided to scrap testimony this weekend. Could there have been a mistrial? Is a plea deal in the works?
The two legal analysts got into a heated argument (once again) over what factor in the trial is more “dysfunctional” – the defense or Anthony’s family members.
At one point, Abrams suggested the focus should switch to Anthony’s father, George Anthony, and Grace can be heard scoffing.
“By the time this is over,” she said, “it’s going to be the next door neighbor and the pizza boy!”
Then, later, Abrams asked whether Grace was suggesting that the defense was going to shift its strategy. “I thought you told me they couldn’t do that,” he said, smiling.
“No,” said Grace, angered. “That was a joke, Dan.”
