WATCH: Driver With Golf Ball-Sized Cocaine Bag in His Mouth Flips Car After Being Tased by Cop

After a Lake County, Illinois detective pulled over a driver for a simple traffic violation, things took a wild turn on an episode of Live PD as the suspect was unable to speak to the officer thanks to a “golf ball sized” bag of cocaine in his mouth.

The officer, Mark Harmon, proceeded to tase the driver in an attempt to neutralize him. However, his electric attempt to incapacitate the suspect failed when the guy with large amount of cocaine in his mouth broke free from the taser’s barbs, started the car, and sped off.

This escape proved to be effective — at first — as the county has a “no pursuit policy,” meaning cops cannot enter high speed car chases of suspects as they could result in harming officers, suspects, and other citizens. But after a few minutes passed, it became clear to viewers that the Illinois man’s get away didn’t go well, as his completely flipped-over blue Volkswagen was spotted in a different neighborhood.

The car appears to have overturned due to reckless driving and landed in someone’s yard, striking their garage. As of the current publishing of this report, the cocaine-in-mouth runaway is still at-large.
