Star of A&E’s Duck Dynasty Phil Robertson was recently suspended from his program after he gave an interview expressing offensive comments about homosexuality. According to a video uncovered by TMZ, while Robertson was delivering a 2010 sermon in Pennsylvania at the Berean Bible Church, he went after the immorality of gays, calling them “insolent, arrogant, God-haters.”
“First they say, ‘There is no God,’” Robertson began. “Then they bow down to birds, animals, and reptiles, and each other.” He added that “gross sexual immorality” is the next condition to follow.
“They will dishonor their bodies with one another,” he continued. “Is that going on in the United States of America? Look around.”
“And boy is there some immorality going on around here,” Robertson exclaimed. “Women exchange natural relations and were inflamed with lust for one another. And the men were inflamed with lust for each other.”
“And they received in themselves the due penalty for their perversions,” Robertson continued. “They are insolent, arrogant, God-haters.”
“They invent ways of doing evil,” he continued.
