J.J. Abrams stopped by The Tonight Show last night to talk to host Jimmy Fallon about the new show he’s producing called The Play That Goes Wrong.
Abrams describes the play as being “So Monty Python meets Buster Keaton, and it’s so silly but what’s incredible is, the more you get to see how they work is the intricacy and the thought and the sophistication that goes behind it. They’re brilliant, and they make it seem so effortless.”
The writers of the play were also there and Fallon decided to bring them onto the set. From the get-go, things went horribly, hilariously wrong.
One of the writers’ feet got stuck in a curtain, furniture had to be moved, glasses were broken, and that’s not even the half of it.
