On Friday morning, Baltimore City State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby will holds a press conference regarding Freddie Gray, the 25-year-old who died after suffering a severe spinal injury while in police custody earlier this month.
Gray’s death has been subject to a secret investigation, and was handed over to the state’s attorney from the city’s police department earlier this week.
UPDATE — 11:00 a.m. ET: Mosby announced that the investigation into Gray’s death found it was a homicide. Warrants have been filed to arrest six officers involved in the incident and charges range from assault to involuntary manslaughter to second-degree murder. Read more here.
